Crosschain systems are flexible and can be used to adapt to many industrial processes. They are particularly well-suited to vehicle-assembly lines such as Bodyshop, Paintshop, and Bodyshop.
GSS Machinery's conveyors and cross transfer / transport handlers are built to be flexible to meet various requirements and process environments. The machine's adaptable design makes it highly efficient in heavy or large material transport applications. It is a popular machine in the material handling or packaging industries.
Our range of Conveyors and cross transfer / cross transport handlers are primarily engineered to operate with powered chain sprocket-driven rollers for a vertical movement and a 90-degree transfer to either side through the use of a pop-up belt unit.
Warehouses can be chaotic and labor-intensive environments, but they don't need to be chaotic.
A problem in automated material handling systems can be poor pallet quality. Although it may reduce the problems associated with poor pallet quality, placing rollers closer together will not allow for chain transfers. IK has designed a chain transfer for 4,000-pound load. It is constructed using a 3/8” steel plate welded frame. This allows for 2-1/2” diameter wheels on 4-1/2” centers. This transfer comes with a chain-take-up design that is easy to adjust without requiring conveyor disassembly.
The EMS Lift & Carry and EMS Continuous-Chain Cross Transfers both have a lifting capacity exceeding 5' per section. They are up to 60’ in length. They can be used for standard transfers (in/out of a roller conveyor) or through transfers (going along the datum lines). These units can also be built according to the specifications of your shop.
IK is a manufacturer of pop-up chain conveyors and has designed pre-engineered transfer systems for empty or loaded pallets. The full pallet's capacity is 4,000 lbs, but it can be modified to suit the needs of the customer.
Our Conveyors & Cross Transfer / Cross Transport handlers are engineered for use with powered chain sprocket driven rollers. This allows for vertical movement as well as a 90 degree transfer to either direction through the use a pop-up belt unit.

A system that is automated is usually made up of multiple units controlled by software.
A conveying system of any kind is used to move a material from one location to another. The transport medium for the chosen pneumatic conveying method is air. It applies to most granular materials, whether they are naturally granular or must be pulverized or crushed.
System of Belt Conveyors
A belt conveyor, also known as a conveyor belt, is a simple conveyor with few features that is primarily used to transport bulk materials such as sand, salt, and grain. Its simplicity makes it simple to use and one of the most common types of conveyors.
Many industries use conveyor systems, including mining, automotive, agricultural, computer, electronic, food processing, aerospace, pharmaceutical, chemical, bottling and canning, print finishing, and packaging.
